KU Opens Position for CP&E Professor and TORP Director

The University of Kansas Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering and the KU Office of Research  is now seeking an Associate or Full Professor of Petroleum Engineering and Director, Tertiary Oil Recovery Program

This is a combined academic and research center appointment, offering an opportunity to conduct research in petroleum recovery technology with a reduced teaching commitment. The faculty member selected for this tenured faculty appointment will teach core and elective courses in petroleum engineering and conduct research. The faculty member will also lead the Tertiary Oil Recovery Program (TORP) as Director, working with TORP staff to provide administrative oversight and strategic direction for the program. The faculty member will have unique opportunities to take a leadership role in energy related research projects involving faculty and staff in the C&PE and Geology Departments, as well as TORP and the Kansas Geological Survey.
